Integrative thinking with university students

The research problem is clarified by the main question: What is the level of integrative thinking among university students? Does integrative thinking differ according to the variables of gender and academic specialization among university students? The research aimed to identify integrative thinking among university students, and the statistical differences in integrative thinking according to the variables (gender and specialization). The current research is determined by students at the University of Kufa of both genders (males and females) and specializations (scientific and humanities) and for the academic year (2023-2024). (1445-1446), and the researcher used the descriptive, correlational approach, and the research community consisted of university students of both genders (male-female) and specialization (scientific-humanitarian) and for the academic year (2023-2024), The original research population was (25,847) male and female students, and the basic research sample was chosen by a stratified random method with (500) males and females, from both scientific and humanities specializations. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher built an integrative thinking scale based on Martin’s theory (Martin, R. (2007). After the statistical analysis indicators (validity and reliability) were verified, the integrative thinking scale consisted of (38) items, and each item had five graded alternatives.
