The crown prince was a system that was prevalent Abbasid state The crown prince was appointed the caliph before his death and took allegiance to him This matter was the legitimate right of the caliph However this matter was in the first era of the Abbasid state and the situation remained as was until the caliph lost his right to appoint the crown prince whom he saw fit for this position. This was when elements that dominated the caliph intervened, so one party began to be strengthened at the expense of another of the caliph's sons. These dominant elements were first the Turks, then the Buyids, who tyrannized the crown prince, so they began to appoint those who served their interests and were under their command. Then the Seljuks, whose tyranny and monopoly of power increased for a certain period of their rule, as they began to force the caliph to choose the crown prince. Consequently, they made the crown prince they chose a toy in their hands. The research came under three main headings: First: The crown prince during of Turkish influence (247_334AH/861_945AD), and second: The crown prince during the period of influence Al-Buwayhi (447_334AH/ 945_1055AD) Third: The crown prince position during period of Seljuk influence between (447-485AH /1055-192AD).
