The four sections of the present study focus on the important event structures of the text; these are the systems of recurrence, interrelatedness, implication, and the cyclical system. These systems prove that the writer has used modern narrative style. He has evinced intelligence through the choice of events which is considered one of the characterizing features of the novel; a similar thing applies to the text's structure and its address to the reader. The writer has made a good use of the interrelatedness of various arts like the cinema, theatre, and painting; these arts help in the distribution of the text's events rendering it an artistic success as an autobiographical piece.Downloads
