Abstract

The current study discusses an important and recent topic in the financial and banking sector. Which is financial innovations according to the FinTech model, which is one of the basic tools that help develop the reality of the banking sector. Therefore, the study aimed to provide a clear idea about the application of this model to help Iraqi banks develop their business according to the latest Financial and technological innovations.

The study community included the Iraqi banking system for the period (2017-2021), and the main hypotheses were analyzed and tested using the statistical program (SPSS)). The study conclusion was that the trend was to use modern payment methods from advanced systems and software to meet the needs of customers and attract the largest number of them, as well as that the best indicator of financial innovations according to the (FinTech) model is the indicator of access to electronic banking services and ease of use.
