The end of the second world war in (1939-1945) is a prominent turning point in international relationships - New powers have appeared they have an essential role in the international policy -They are united States of America leader of western countries Soviet union leader of Eastern countries , The fifties witnessed series of attempts by western countries to impose western projects and alliances to encircle the soviet union to limit his activity and prevent the expansion of his influence in the middle East - especially the Arabian region to preserve its economic interests and to protect Israel of Arab attacks , Among these projects and alliances , The Triple statement in ( 1950 ) , The Middle East Defence command project ( 1951 ) , Baghdad's Pact ( 1955 ) , but Syria rejected all these projects and considered them an interference in internal affairs of the Arabian States especially Syria .
