Abstract

Focus the research entitled (General Political Conditions in Lebanon 1908-1943 (Initial Reading)).  On the general political situation that Lebanon witnessed starting in 1908, which was represented by the establishment of the Ottoman Constitutional Revolution, and the political changes that resulted from that revolution that deeply affected the whole region and clarified the weakness that the Ottoman Empire was suffering from during that period, which led to the ouster of Sultan Abdul Hamid II and the installation of his brother  Muhammad Rashad, the emergence of the national movement in Lebanon, passing through the federalists’ control of the reins of government after that, the outbreak of the first and second world wars and the Lebanese position on them, the internal political situation and the tracing of the stages of the emergence of the state of Lebanon to 1943 AD.
