Abstract

A variety of belief and intellectual systems prevailed in the Arabian Peninsula before Islam, which together formed a homogeneous social environment in which intellectual and religious channels were found that contributed to the enrichment of these systems, and to the development of the Arab mentality through the interaction of its members with each other, and these channels were associated with specific places and known times, such as Hajj and markets.
