Abstract

the introduction:
Most of the academic historical studies focused on the study of the political and economic aspects, so the researcher wanted to shed light on the educational aspect in his study, especially in the city of Kufa, being an Islamic historical city, and its school was thriving in the Islamic era, and its great mosque included the study circles of many scholars Education has contributed to the development of the capabilities of individuals with knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that enable them to meet the requirements of life, raise their level of health, and increase their chances of participation in political life, and enable them to contribute better to the economic and social development of their country, and thus leads to a reduction in Their state of poverty, ignorance and backwardness, and the researcher chose the time period 1968-1979 to study it as the beginning of a new phase that differed in its features and characteristics from what preceded it in the field of education and its development, and this is what constituted a motive in choosing the subject of the research. The study was divided on this introduction and five paragraphs and a conclusion in which the researcher mentioned the most important findings of his findings. Those paragraphs included the study of kindergartens in the city of Kufa, and primary education in it. Najaf agriculture in Kufa, and higher education represented by the College of Medicine and the Agricultural Institute in the city of Kufa.
The researcher relied on the unpublished documents preserved in the Books and Documents House in Baghdad, the documents of the Ministries of Planning and Education, and various published documents, as well as various sources to a lesser extent mentioned in the margins of the research and the list of its sources.
