Abstract

The study aimed to know the level of intellectual immunity and the level of its components among university students, and to know the differences in the level of intellectual immunity, and in the level of its components, according to the variables (Gender and specialization).

The sample consisted of 400 male and female students from the University of Kufa (Iraq), who were selected by the stratified random method. To achieve the objectives of the research, A tool was built according to George Kelly's theory, consisting of (46) items, and five answer alternatives, and the scale had psychometric properties. The most important results were:

  • University students enjoy a high level of intellectual immunity and the level of its components.).
  • There are statistically significant differences at the 0.05 level among university students in the level of intellectual immunity between males and females in favor of females.
  • There are no statistically significant differences at the level of 50 in the level of intellectual immunity and in the level of its components between students of scientific specialization and students of humanitarian specialization.
