Abstract
Omission is a general is a Omission phenomenon fund in all human languages because speakers incline to omit repeated words in speech, or ornit what the listener can understand through the context of situation. Omission is considered one of the important elements of the contextual unity, which highlights the important vole of the listener in pointing the Omissions and their rhetorical and textual functions in Koran. Omission plays an important role in achieving the consistency of the koranic texts. Al-Zamakhshari tried to know the Omissions in koranic verses from the evidences that are found in the wording of the koranic verses and this crates a connection between the supposed meaning and the exited meaning of the verses. There are many types of omissions in Koran. They include the Omission of nouns, verbs, prepositions, and sentences.
