The research studies an important Najafi personality She excelled in the field of historical writing, he is (Kazim Aboud Al-Fatlawi) Who played a strong role in writing important pages of the history of his city, which he loved and wrote a lot about, and left a wide knowledge, embodied in a number of books and various studies, many of which were concerned with the issue of defining personalities, and due to the nature of the study, we divided it into this introduction, two chapters and a conclusion. It included the most important conclusions. The first topic studied the biography of Al-Fatlawi, his education and his most important intellectual products, foremost of which are his books such as (Celebrities Buried in the Upper Noble Sanctuary), (The Selected from the Flags of Thought and Literature), (Najaf Popular Poets) and (Dictionary of Iraqi Investigators).

The second topic of this topic is devoted to the definition of his articles and poetry. As for the second topic, it focused on studying his method in historical writing in the book (Mustadrak of Shura’ al-Ghari), which indicated the scientific importance of the book and the motives for writing it. Tables were drawn up with the book’s various sources, highlighting the author’s scientific honesty.

The research concluded that Al-Fatlawi’s writings were characterized by focus and accuracy, and their commitment to the scientific nature and their progress according to the strong research methodology, focusing on the definition of poetic personalities that were unable to be translated by the encyclopedias that preceded him, so he headed towards carrying out this task in his three-part book (Mustadrak of poets of Ghari), Who needed a superlative literary courage to tackle such a thorny and sensitive topic, that none of the critics or writers dared to enter into.
