Abstract

The current study aims to demonstrate the nature of the relationship between the study variables represented by active learning strategies and academic anxiety in the College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Kufa. The importance of the study emerged due to the increasing benefits of active learning strategies in various educational fields and their ability to improve students' psychological abilities.

The questionnaire was the primary tool for data collection. (285) responses were obtained from students in the College of Computer Science and Mathematics. After removing duplicates from the statistical data, the number of responses became (280), with a response rate of (98%). Statistical programs (AMOS v.27 and SPSS v.27) were used to analyze the data.

The results of the study showed a significant positive relationship between active learning strategies and their dimensions and academic anxiety.
