Trade exchange occupies an important place in the economy of the whole world, as it is the backbone of the economy and in its development countries develop and prosper, and Islam, as a comprehensive divine religion that guides all mankind, has taken care of the economic aspect in general and aspect trade exchange in particular, and put in it many general controls that guarantee the happiness of mankind.
Hence, the research came to address the Qur’anic verses that talk about trade exchange and its controls, by clarifying its concept based on the sayings of the Imami interpreters.
The research concluded with several results, the most prominent of which are: the existence of a set of Qur’anic controls that govern the process of commercial exchange, such as the requirement of mutual consent between the seller and the buyer, the prohibition of under-balancing and measuring, the prohibition of usury, the obligation to fulfill commercial contracts and covenants, and others.
