Abstract

The transition to digitalization will reshape economic and social structures. The digital economy that many countries of the world are witnessing is very promising for innovation, increasing efficiency, and improving services in all economic sectors. So digitization has become a necessary condition for comprehensive, sustainable, and general growth. The study took a look at the reality of digital change in Arab countries by tracking their plans and strategies to promote digital change. The difficulties and challenges facing Arab countries to achieve their total digital reports or improve the digital census in priority sectors. The study led to the need to carry out integrated economic reforms by creating basic principles that constitute the principle of sustainability and scientific competition in order to strengthen the economy and enter the digital phase. Digital and new technologies play a crucial role in driving progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals by providing unprecedented opportunities for data-based decision-making, effective resource management, and sustainable development practices. They enable the collection, analysis, and dissemination of vast amounts of data related to sustainability, and empower decision-makers through Actionable insights, providing transformative tools to address the complex challenges outlined in the Sustainable Development Goals. In conclusion, the emergence of the Sustainable Development Goals indicates a global recognition of the urgent need to take comprehensive and transformative actions to address the interconnected challenges facing humanity by adopting the goals, as they represent a roadmap for collective action, with a focus on inclusivity, equity, and long-term sustainability.
