The study dealt with the competitive maneuvering strategy and its relationship to institutional performance. The problem of the study is that government organizations follow the traditional, undeveloped approach in applied and field studies in the process of evaluating the institutional performance of organizations. The importance of the study is to bridge the knowledge gap regarding the extent of the impact of the competitive maneuvering strategy on institutional performance. The (smart pls) program was used to test the following hypothesis (there is a positive, statistically significant relationship between the competitive maneuvering strategy and institutional performance). The study concluded that there is a strong, positive relationship between the competitive maneuvering strategy and institutional performance in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior.
