This research aims to analyze the role of self-leadership in promoting innovative behavior a sample of employees in the Najaf Governorate Diwan. The problem of this study is limited to the extent to which self-leadership supports employee innovative behavior. This research a descriptive-analytical approach by describing the research variables, collecting relevant data, and then analyzing them. The current research population was determined using a checklist distributed to department managers in the Najaf Governorate Diwan to examine the presence of the three variables in each department. The presence of the three study variables was confirmed in 19 departments in the governorate, while other departments in which the research variables were not confirmed were excluded. Accordingly, the research population comprised 360 individuals in these departments within the Governorate Diwan, while the sample numbered 199 individuals from the staff of these departments.The researchers used used a scientifically validated questionnaire as a means of collecting the necessary data and information from the sample members. The questionnaire consisted of 61 tems distributed across the two variables. This data was subjected to statistical tests using Smart PLS v.3.3.2 and SPSS v.26. The results revealed a significant positive correlation and influence between self-leadership and innovative behavior,. This calls for adopting a self-leadership style that positively influences employee innovative behavior.
