Abstract

This research deals with a comparative study of the trends of climate change between the two stations of Al-Rutba and Basra for the period (1970-2021), as well as seeking to indicate the trends of thermal climate change between the two study stations to evaluate the temperature peaks and their trends towards increase and decrease and to indicate this through the graphic representation of temperatures during the study period. Whereas, the comparison study seeks to reveal the reasons for the discrepancy between the two study stations, and the study concluded that there are clear trends towards increasing and decreasing in the normal, minimum and maximum temperature values in the two study stations.
