Calvin Coolidge's position on the immigration issue (1923-1928)

The United States of America allowed the entry of large numbers of eastern and southern European immigrants to the United States of America, and here it was necessary to make the year 1890 the base year instead of the year 1910. States, including the Government of El Salvador, which informed the United States on January 4, 1924 that it had become aware that the U.S. Department of Labor had sent to the House and Senate Immigration Committee a new immigration bill and expanded the provisions relating to immigration in Central and South American countries. Such a project will contradict the policy followed by the United States of America towards other American republics, and it hopes that such a project will not be approved.
