Health services are among the most important services provided by the state to the individual and society, because these services are related to the life of the individual and his performance as an effective element in society and the extent of its impact on the general community and the movement of life in it and its development in various fields. The research aims to know the reality of the spatial distribution of health care centers in Al-Qadisiyah Governorate and the extent of their quantitative and spatial functional efficiency compared to the size of the population for each administrative unit, as well as knowing the future trends for the development of health care centers in the study area. The research concluded that there is a concentration of (52.8%) in the number of health centers in Al-Qadisiyah governorate in Al-Diwaniyah district. The governorate also suffers from a large deficit in the institutions of this service, amounting to (73) health centers during the year 2018, and this means that the governorate needs to build (91) centers to meet the needs of its residents of this service, who will reach in the year 2025 to (1441002) people. The researcher suggested reconsidering the balancing formulas between the population density of the study area and the level of health services in it in order to ensure that the individual's share of these services is guaranteed. In addition to the need to find an appropriate geographical distribution of health centers among the administrative units in the governorate, depending on the population density in each administrative unit.
