Organized crime is one of the most important issues of concern to the international community, especially with the continuous increase in crime and criminals. Transnational organized crime is one of the dangerous crimes that may threaten the existence of the state and its people because of its serious consequences affecting the security and safety of individuals and their property in a way that threatens societal security and contributes to the decline in the sustainable development index. Organized crime is no longer illegal behavior, whether it is an act or omission that can be attributed to the perpetrator. To be punished according to the law, even countries cannot combat organized crime in isolation from other countries, and this is due to the impact of international changes, especially globalization, on the one hand. On the other hand, scientific and technological development and progress in informatics and communication systems, which elevated the ways and way of human life to the best, all of this was accompanied by a development in crime that includes the emergence of new forms of it, with many methods and characteristics that distinguish it from other traditional crimes. The research dealt with the impact of organized crime on sustainable development, with its application to the Yakuza gang in Japan, through three investigations, and at the end of the research we concluded that there is an inverse relationship between organized crime and sustainable development, the more organized crime spreads, the lower the levels of development, and the lower the crime rate organization the greater the development process.
