Abstract

Bada is an Andalusian city located to the east of Toledo and to the west of Shantibri within the Andalusian sub-region. It was conquered by the Muslims under the leadership of Tariq ibn Ziyad in the year 93 AH / 711 AD. Bani Dhul-Nun and the family of Bani Laboun, and it fell in the hands of the Christians in the year 478 AH / 1085 AD. After the fall of Toledo in the year 478 AH / 1085 AD, it turned into an arena for the Islamic-Christian conflict, because the confrontations in it continued until the middle of the sixth century AH / the twelfth century AD, when the conflict was finally resolved in favor of the Christians, so that the defeat of the Almohads there in the year 567 AH / 1172 AD is the beginning of the gradual decline of the Almohad state And the control of the Christians over most of the areas of the Andalusian frontier.
