Abstract

It appears from the foregoing that rhythmic parallelism, in both its contrasting and balanced forms, is an important element of musical and semantic enrichment. The Imam () was aware of this matter. Therefore, his texts on the rule of Nahj al-Balaghah were replete with parallelism. This was evident through his choice of words and appropriate grammatical structures, which provide the text with an internal rhythm consistent with the meaning intended to be communicated to the recipient. It has been shown from the previous texts that the imam was keen on coloring the rhythm and not being limited to one style of verbal music. Because he is fully aware that diversifying the rhythm has an impact on accepting and receiving the text. It makes the recipient hooked to the text.
