The research deals with the policy pursued by the Ottomans who established their emirate, at the end of the thirteenth century, as one of the border emirates that appeared in conjunction with the weakness and collapse of the Seljuk state, towards the emirates of Anatolia, which amounted to about sixteen emirates that bore the status of an emirate during the reigns of the two princes Othman and his son Ertugrul, Then it turned into a state during the reign of Sultan Murad I. The Ottomans wanted to unite Anatolia and subjugate it to their sovereignty, although their emirate was the least of the aforementioned emirates in area, least populated, and weakest in strength, so they took the first step towards achieving this goal in 1345 when Prince Orhan managed to annex the Kara Si emirate to his emirate
