Abstract

The research aims to identify the historical thinking skills of middle school students from the teachers' point of view. The one who looks at the educational outcomes in many middle schools in Iraq finds a large percentage that is not at the required level, which is the students’ lack of historical thinking skills in an accurate scientific manner based on study, analysis and scientific evaluation. The exceptional circumstances that Iraq is going through, which resulted in various problems that included many sectors of society, including the education sector.
