Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the effectiveness of a proposed strategy based on the theory of both sides of the brain in the achievement of physics and perceived self-efficacy, by verifying the following hypothesis: There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group students, which It was studied using the proposed strategy and the average scores of the students of the control group who studied in the usual way in the achievement test for physics and the scale of perceived self-efficacy.

  The research identified the students of the fifth applied grade in Al-Nahda Secondary School for Boys affiliated to the Directorate of Education in Al-Diwaniyah for the academic year (2021-2022) AD and with the study material from the physics book for the fifth grade applied for the first course only. The sample is (76) students, and by (38) students for the control group and (38) students for the experimental group that studied with the proposed strategy. The students of the two research groups (experimental and control) were rewarded in the variables (chronological age in months, intelligence, previous information in physics), and for the purpose of Verifying the goal of the research, the researchers prepared a set of plans according to the proposed strategy after preparing the steps of the strategy and ensuring the extent to which they can be applied to students. Multiple) and their validity, stability, strength and discrimination coefficient were confirmed for both of them, in addition to that, the experiment was applied in the academic year (2021-2022) and one of the researchers taught the students of the two groups (experimental and control) by himself, and after the end of the experiment, the data was processed using the t-test for two independent samples (t-test). In light of this, the researcher came out with several recommendations and suggestions.
