Abstract:
The Iraqi legislator pays attention to protect and preserve the environment from discretion and illegal traffic in hazardous and radioactive waste. The Iraqi legislator enacts many penal provisions that criminate any violations of using hazardous materials by entering or transmitting them illegally. therefore, these actions could apply for the penal preservation against any type of pollution. The Iraqi legislator also applies Penal sanctions that contribute to complying the legal articles to achieve environmental protection. These sanctions are negative penalties for freedoms such as imprisonment, and civil penalties such as compensation and restore the status as it was before.
