Abstract

God's will decreed that humankind, with its earthly, physical nature, be His vicegerent on Earth. This nature inevitably leads to competition, conflict, and disagreement. This disagreement has given rise to a divine and enduring law governing human interaction—the law of conflict, or what is known in Quranic terminology as the law of pushing and shoving. God revealed His message to His prophets so that they might revive the sound nature inherent in humanity and remove the veils and darkness from minds and hearts. The Holy Quran established a methodology, approach, and methods for dealing with all forms of conflict and disputes. Some, particularly in the West, claim these methods are their own invention, but the Holy Quran refutes this claim through its clear verses, which establish the foundation for each of these methods. This is the reason for choosing this topic, and this research will serve as a gateway to shedding light on these methods and demonstrating their undeniable Quranic origin.
