Abstract

Imam Ali (Peace be on him) had acquired the highest most characteristic levels of capacity, second to our Prophet (Allah may pray on Him and His Household). He was the leading figure of the rhetoric and the orator; he was also the leading figure of the pious and God-fearing. "Nahj Al-Balagha" represents rhetorical basis and model of style in which rhetoric sublimes all ages. That famous book was the fruit of the Quranic School led and established by our Prophet (Allah may pray on Him and His Household) where Imam Ali (Peace be on him) had grown up throughout his childhood and youth. And thanks to that there had been an Alawian methodology of unique value represented in rhetoric significance, in addition to its generating from the Quranic bases that enriched "Nahj Al-Balagha" to make Imam Ali's outstanding rhetoric a pure humble work of literature correlated with miracle rhetoric of the Quran.

"Nahj Al-Balagha" is regarded as an established extension to the Prophet Mohammed's method in protecting and assisting the Quran teachings and honest explanations. In addition this book took from the Quran resolution and well-rooted method in oration presenting.

Imam Ali (Peace be on him) in "Nahj Al-Balagha" had never adulated anybody when giving speeches, but presented most affecting and sound facts that drew the attention of listeners. He never tried to force on others what he used to teach. This is because he was firm in the right in spite of the little number of his supporters.

Praise be to Allah, the Mighty.
