The impact of internal public debt on banking stability indicators in Iraq for the period 2010/2018

The aim of the research is to highlight the importance of the internal public debt and its impact on the indicators of banking stability by analyzing and clarifying the importance of each of them in achieving the stability of the Iraqi banking sector, in addition to measuring the impact of the internal public debt on the indicators of banking stability represented by (capital adequacy, asset quality, profitability , exchange rate risks, liquidity (during the period 2010-2018) and the standard analysis method was used for the purpose of showing the impact of the internal public debt on the indicators of Iraqi banking stability during the research period, through the use of the SPSS 23 program. The researchers concluded that there is a significant effect of the internal public debt In the indicators of banking stability in Iraq, as the internal public debt was associated with an inverse relationship with the indicators of profitability and exchange rate risks, and a direct relationship with the indicator of capital adequacy, quality of assets and liquidity.
