الغرض من البحث هو التعرف على المرتكزات الفكرية لمتغيرين (سلوكيات القيادة المتناقضة، الغموض الاستراتيجي) وتشخيص مستوى اعتماد سلوكيات القيادة المتناقضة في المستشفى، إذ تمثلت مشكلة الدراسة بوجود حالات الغموض الاستراتيجي في عمل المستشفى، ومن أجل الاجابة عن تساؤلات الدراسة والتحقق من اهدافها اعتمدت المنهج الوصفي التحليلي،
وتم اختيار عينة عشوائية من الكوادر الطبية والتمريضية في المستشفى المذكور بمقدار (264) فردا من أصل المجتمع البالغ (776) فردا، واعتمدت استمارة الاستبيان أداة أساسية لجمع البيانات والمعلومات اللازمة، اذ تكونت من (32) فقرة غطت متغيرات الدراسة بأبعادها الفرعية واختبرت الدراسة عددا من الفرضيات تم التحقق من صحتها بواسطة البرنامجين الاحصائيين smart pls)، spssv.24)، وتوصلت الدراسة مجموعة من الاستنتاجات أهمها أن اعتماد القيادة المتناقضة من شأنه ان يقلل الغموض الاستراتيجي في المستشفى المبحوثة.
