The research aims to elucidate the mutual influences between meaning and ideological and political contexts from Roland Barthes' post-structuralist perspective. The study concludes that meaning is linked to the role language plays in influencing various cultural, ideological, and political contexts, reflecting the problematic nature characterized by the complexity and interweaving of the factors shaping meaning. The study finds that the multiple and dynamic nature of meaning makes its operation reflexively influential, as it is continuously formed and reformed according to the contexts in which signs appear. Meanings both affect and are affected, which is the source of their complexity and interrelatedness.
