The effect of the strategy of knowing the story structure on the reading comprehension of the fifth grade primary school girls

The current research aims to find out (the effect of monitoring comprehension strategy on developing conversation skills of fifth grade pupils). To achieve this, the researcher adopted an experimental design located in the fields of experimental designs with partial control, and a post-test for the two research groups, one experimental and the other control.
The researcher intentionally chose Al-Aqsa Al-Sharif elementary school affiliated to the General Directorate of Education in Baghdad Al-Rusafa / Al-Thani, and by the random method he chose Division (A) to be the experimental group of 30 pupils, who would study Arabic reading subject according to the comprehension monitoring strategy, and the Division ( C) to represent the control group of (30) female students, who will study the same subject in the traditional way.
The researcher conducted parity between the students of the two groups in the following variables: chronological age calculated in months, the academic achievement of the fathers, the academic achievement of the mothers, the grades of the previous year (2018-2019), the intelligence test of Daniels, the test of pre-speaking skills.
