Abstract

The verses of the Holy Qur’an show a clear picture of the hypocrites for the purpose of observing and knowing them by the sons of the Islamic community and Muslims throughout the ages, to be safe from their deception, and to beware of their plots that they weave, just as the Holy Qur’an, which describes itself as a dear book and that it is ﮙ ﮚ ﮛﮜ ﮝ ﮞ ﮟ ﮠ ﭼ (Fussilat / 42) In addition to explaining this dangerous social phenomenon, Muslims are warned against falling into the trap of this dangerous disease. The verses of the Qur’an that express the traits of the hypocrites indicate that hypocrisy is distributed over very vast areas that include men and women, and that the Holy Qur’an, through its use of the present tense denoting continuity, indicates that this phenomenon can be repeated in any era, including our present age, and in contrast to the sources The history that tries to personalize hypocrisy and that it represents an individual case, we see the Holy Quran presents hypocrisy as a social condition and has dire political and social repercussions on the Islamic entity. In this article, we also try to show the traits of the hypocrites by using the Qur’anic verses that have an analytical approach to the souls of the hypocrites and monitoring the movement of hypocrisy and hypocrites, supported by some examples and historical evidence and a comparison between the evidence of internal and external hypocrisy in early Islam and between the hypocrites of these two spectrums in our current era.
