Abstract

Healing is a physical condition that all bees and sects agree on. The variety of reasons leading to healing drew the attention of intellectuals to search for how to achieve it and the mechanism through which it is carried out. Recovery after illness is achieved in two cases; Through material causes and the second case through supernatural causes affecting material matters. There are verses in the Holy Qur’an that state the possibility of healing through both methods and treatment. The aim of this research is to study the opinions of the Sunni and Shia commentators in order to clarify the non-material reasons for achieving the phenomenon of healing. According to the verses of the Holy Qur’an, interpreters see that healing is one of the things that are directly achieved by the hand of God Almighty and His words, i.e. the Holy Qur’an, or it is achieved as a miracle by His will, the Almighty, His permission, and His will, as a miracle by the prophets, or as an honor by the saints of those who have a divine soul by bringing him to the station of guardianship and perfection. Achieving healing is considered one of the evidences of influence in the world of creation, and it can happen through some methods, such as heartfelt faith, blessing, and pleading with the Qur’an, the prophets, and the saints of God in every place and time in which conditions are available.
