A stylistic approach to the sermon "Al-Qa'a" in Nahj-al-Balaghah

Nahj-al-Balaghah consists of sermons, letters, and wisdom that are distinguished by meaning and content, letters, vocabulary, sentences, and style. So that the rhetorical aspect of it is a verse of the miraculous speech of Imam Ali (). This study approached the stylistic structures in one of Al-Gharaa's sermons called Al-Qasaa', and relied in its analysis on the descriptive-analytical approach on five levels: phonetic, structural, lexical, rhetorical and intellectual. In the vocal level, the creative improvements, such as counterpoint and coordination of adjectives, were repeated, as they played a major role in creating the rhythmic atmosphere. In addition, the Imam () benefited from other techniques such as vocal repetition and verbal music to increase the tone of his speech.
