Abstract

The research studies the phenomenon of complete congruence in the Qur'anic structures, and its impact on textual linking in the Holy Qur'an. As congruence as a verbal repetition of the structure works on the coherence of the paragraphs of the text and tighten its parts in form and content. One of the manifestations of textual coherence in identical structures is the phenomenon of the semantic counterpart, which is meant by the semantic meaning corresponding to the content of the structure. The semantic counterpart comes in a variety of forms, including: the explanatory counterpart, in which the semantic counterpart interprets the content of the structure semantically. And the reciprocal counterpart, in which the counterpart exchanges some words of the identical structure. And the complementary counterpart, in which the counterpart is integrated with the semantically identical structure. These semantic relations between the semantic counterpart and the identical structure form bonds that bind the parts of the text together.
