The degree of availability of knowledge economy skills in the biology book for the third intermediate grade (analytical study)

Research Summary
The development and modernization of the textbook is one of the priorities of development in order to meet individual and social needs and to cope with socio-economic, scientific and technological changes in a rapidly changing society.The research aims at
1- Building the standards of developing the content of the biology book for the third grade in the light of the knowledge economy
. 2 - Analysis of the content of the book for the third grade in the light of the average standards of the knowledge economy
Several criteria were developed for developing the content of the biology book for the third grade in the light of the knowledge economy, reviewing the literature and previous studies, and reviewing the opinions of a number of experts and specialists in the field of educational and psychological sciences. The researchers then analyzed the content of the biology book for the third grade in Iraq, Which have been prepared for this purpose.The results showed that the book was in different proportions, where the first item of the contents of the preparation of the book linked to the desired learning outcomes (goals) and reached
(194) by (25)% and came last item (provides creative ideas related to daily lessons) number (13) by 1.67
The researchers made several recommendations, including:
1 - Utilization of the analysis tool prepared for the analysis of the biology book for the third grade average in light of the requirements of the knowledge economy
2 - Employment of the results of this study in the development and improvement of the biology book for the third grade in Iraq
3 - Benefit from the results of this study in the development of programs of continuing education courses for secondary school teachers in the secondary stage
