Abstract

This research explores the transcendent perspective on death as a comprehensive reformative force, beginning with an analysis of the reality of death and the inevitability of mortality as a universal law that shatters the arrogance of materialism and eliminates the illusion of lasting hope. It transforms death from a metaphysical concept into a reality that stimulates spiritual awakening. The research then moves to explain the ethical implications of contemplating death, where remembering the end acts as an inner guide, refining the soul and replacing pride with humility. This motivates individuals to hasten towards good deeds and renounce worldly desires. In its third dimension, the research analyzes the social and human justice implications, highlighting how certainty of judgment achieves social equilibrium, ensuring the redress of grievances and equality. Thus, the research forms an integrated system that begins with the awareness of mortality, culminating in moral rectitude and a just social reality. In Nahj al-Balagha, death represents a covenant for righteous deeds in this transient world, laying the foundation for prosperity in the eternal abode. In this way, the fear of death transforms into a desire to improve life and the well-being of both the nation and its people.

Death, in Nahj al-Balagha, represents a covenant for good works in this transient world, establishing well-being in the eternal abode. Consequently, the fear of death is transformed into a desire to reform life and improve the lives of both the nation and its people.
