The impact of political rights and freedoms on the exercise of mass pressure tactics.

Abstract

The masses cannot effectively pursue their goals of change and reform in the deteriorating political and social reality without a conducive environment that allows them to breathe the air of freedoms of all kinds, as guaranteed by Islamic law. This includes sufficient space for freedom of opinion and belief, as well as political freedom. The masses cannot fulfill their role under oppression and tyranny, and without the political freedoms of the individual and society. Furthermore, the absence of constitutions and legislation that guarantee these practices, freedom of expression, and the protection of rights is essential.

Before outlining the types of rights and freedoms required, it is necessary to clarify the terms "right" and "freedom" linguistically and technically, as well as their relationship to one another. Then, we will explain the meaning of the right to freedom in Islamic thought, distinguishing it from human rights and the freedoms guaranteed by Islamic law.
