Abstract

After a long scientific research trip in the Diwan of the Caliphs, it crystallized that the Holy Quran was the main source in the selection of Quranic images in the structure of their poems. Without a doubt, the employment of the image in the literary text is one of the most effective elements in poetic art. The poet invokes the words to reveal the new sensation on the other hand, we find that the minds of the caliphs are full of images and Quranic verses. They were in constant contact with the Holy Quran through which they used these words and images. They are deviated from these Qur'anic images to express their thoughts and emotions.
