Abstract

   The research examined some of the indicators of monetary stability and found that the monetary policy attempt in Iraq is clear by maintaining the alignment of the growth of the money supply with the growth of the gross domestic product and targeting inflation through the exchange to achieve economic stability. It is unproductive, and hence the weakness of investment vessels on the real side, so the Central Bank of Iraq tried to apply Basel (2.1) indicators to increase the effectiveness of supervision and direct monetary currents, leading to achieving financial and monetary stability, and then achieving economic stability.
