Al-Ghary Journal of Economic and Administrative Sciences, its first issue was in 2004 and the issue was in paper. Research began to be published electronically in 2007. The Journal stopped in 2020 as a result of the Covid-19 epidemic. It will be published electronically in 2021.

It is a peer-reviewed journal for scientific purposes that publishes specialized research in economics, management, accounting, financial and banking sciences, statistics, and tourism. It also publishes summaries of recent important books in the field of specialization. The Journal won the best specialty for the years 2009-2010. All research is subject to comprehensive review by reviewers. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. To submit research for the purpose of publication in the journal, the research submitted for publication must not have been previously submitted for publication, accepted for publication, or published in another journal.

For the purpose of ensuring the originality of the research issued by the journal, the journal uses the iThenticate program to detect plagiarism. In reviewing research, the journal also adopts a double-blind policy where both the researcher and the research evaluator are anonymous to each other in order to achieve transparency in accepting and publishing research.
