Abstract

The study aims to analyze the relationship between the crude oil markets and the financial markets, as we will track this relationship by shedding light on the analysis of the impact of oil revenues on the indicators of the Iraqi stock market, represented by (the general index of stock prices, the trading volume index, the number of shares index and the market value index The study concluded that the sensitivity of the Iraqi economy to fluctuations in crude oil prices and revenues that occur from time to time has a clear impact on the indicators of the Iraqi stock market, as the rise in crude oil prices and revenues had a positive impact on the macroeconomic variables and indicators of the performance of the Iraqi market for securities. As for the decline in crude oil prices, it has negative effects on macroeconomic variables and indicators of the performance of the Iraqi stock market ,The study also recommended that the government should take precautionary measures to limit the impact of fluctuations in oil revenues resulting from fluctuations in oil prices on the performance indicators of the Iraqi stock market.
