Purpose - The study aims to reveal the relationship between the leader’s golden thinking and innovative performance through strategic purity. Despite the significant association between leader golden thinking and innovation performance, empirical studies report inconclusive results so the study attempts to test the mediating role of strategic purity.
Design / Methodology / Approach - This study works to activate the leader’s golden thinking as one of the strategic variables to achieve innovative performance. The researcher sent an electronic questionnaire to the employees of the company that is the study’s sample. (53) responses were obtained and were analyzed using the advanced statistical program (SmartPLS). .
Results - The primary finding of this study is that variables such as leader golden thinking are closely and positively associated with strategic purity. Strategic purity has a significant impact on innovative performance.
Originality/Value - This study demonstrates the resource-based view that a valuable, priceless, and non-substitutable asset such as a leader's golden thinking leads to enhanced innovation performance through strategic purity.
