Abstract

This study dealt with an important figure in the history of Egypt, whose scientific impact is still evident in supporting research and studies. Through a careful reading of this study, I concluded the following:

1- The views of Abdullah al-Nadim had a clear impact on the transformation of Ahmed Orabi's movement at its inception from having military goals into a revolution with comprehensive goals, as it was Abdullah al-Nadim who gave Ahmed Orabi the legitimacy of the resurrection of his revolution.

2- Al-Nadim was aware that the British colonialists had many means to entrap the people, especially between the Egyptian Copts and the Muslims, so he sought to block the way for the British by exploiting the Copts and making the battle between the British and the Egyptians.
