Organizational inertia and its impact on the performance of religious tourism institutions

Tourism is considered one of the most important economic activities, especially religious tourism, which is relied upon to contribute to the budgets of Middle Eastern countries that have religious sites that are visited by tourists, and has become worthy of societal and official attention. This research aims to examine the effect of organizational inertia and its dimensions (mental inertia, behavioral inertia, social inertia, economic inertia and political inertia) on the performance of institutions specialized in religious tourism in Najaf. A questionnaire was distributed to workers at the holy shrines in Najaf, using the SPSS var.26 program to analyze the data obtained to reach objective and realistic results. Religious institutions in Iraq have deep cultural roots, which leads to increased job commitment and reduced work turnover rates. Because the work of employees is mainly based on religious values.
