The experience of supportive education at the Martyr Abi Mahdi Al-Mohandes Center (may God have mercy on him) (Basra Governorate Center, as a model)

Abstract

Successful and prosperous societies are one of the most powerful and dominant societies in this world, and in order for society to be strong and developed, it must be based on several components, most notably science, which is the main strength in the renaissance and advancement of human societies, which have always urged the monotheistic religions on the importance of science and learning.

The educational aspect of the families of the martyrs and the wounded was and still is among the concerns of the Educational Services Department in the Directorate of Cultural and Social Services in the Popular Mobilization Authority, which has done a lot and harnessed a great deal of its capabilities in this aspect.

In view of the need of care groups (children of martyrs, the wounded and their families) for educational care supporting public education (governmental and private), the study seeks to shed light on a vital model in the field of support education, which is the Martyr Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis Center (may God have mercy on him) in Basra Governorate, which took it upon itself to provide supportive education to the families of martyrs for the primary and secondary stages, as well as literacy services and accelerated education.

From all of the above, the study seeks to provide a detailed research on this center, including statistics, types of educational services, and the results achieved from this project, in addition to the importance that this center enjoys as a successful experience that can be invested and worked on its development and application in other fields.
