Abstract

Action research is one of the methods used in teaching and education, and it differs from other methods used in educational research in terms of the objective, the procedure, and the generalization of the results. Gadamer is considered one of the most important philosophers of the method of philosophical hermeneutics who criticize the approach. Gadamer believes that the method is not sufficient to reach the truth, and he tried to prove that there is a field of facts that cannot be reached by methodology, relying on that on the concept of Francis or practical wisdom. Hermeneutics. The aim of this research is to analyze the path of de Gadamer's philosophical hermeneutics as a basis for action research. The researchers in this study, relying on the description-analysis method, try to show that what connects Francis and dialectics is the importance they attach to work in its dialectical sense, and not work in the sense of "employment".
