The research talks about Soviet-Pakistani relations during the year 1980, which witnessed important developments at the regional and international levels, especially after the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan on December 27, 1979, which increased the tension of Soviet-Pakistani relations during that year and created a political crisis in the relations of the two countries whose effects have continued For several years, the research focused on the nature of the relations of the two countries and the accompanying negotiations that took place between them regarding the solution of the Afghan crisis.
