Abstract

         The research includes study, analysis and description of the periodic changes in Iraq’s rain due to changes in the recurrence of the duration of survival of atmospheric depressions and the duration of their stay within the atmosphere of Iraq, during the climatic cycles within the period (1964-2018), at a rate of (11 years) for each cycle. The research includes three sections - the first topic included - the characteristics of the atmospheric depressions affecting the climate of Iraq. While the second topic came in the analysis of the periodic changes of rain falling on Iraq. As for the third topic - it was to analyze the statistical relationships between the air depressions and the rain falling on Iraq.
